Faith & Life Discussion Groups

The Faith & Life Discussion Groups are designed for University students, with the goal of bringing every thought captive to the Lordship of Christ. The two standing groups—Christian Scripture and Christian Greats—are dedicated, respectively, to ongoing discussions of Biblical books, themes, or persons, and to great literature written within the Christian tradition. Other groups may focus on issues within a particular academic discipline, or may be formed on an ad hoc basis to focus on a particular book or topic. Areas of focus for these additional groups have included the social sciences, literary criticism, the origins of life, and historical theology. Discussion groups may take many different forms, but usually meet for an hour and a half once every other week during the semester.

Those interested in forming new groups are may contact Bill Wilder, Director of Graduate Ministries via e-mail at bill@studycenter.net or by phone at (434) 817-1050.
