The power of movies to affect our culture is unquestioned. And everyone loves to talk about movies. These two facts force Christians to ask questions of the films they watch. This discussion group will view films from the list developed by the American Film Institute in 1996 of the 100 greatest films in American movie history and explore their messages in a stimulating atmosphere of frank conversation. Our goal will be to achieve a better understanding of our culture and the forces shaping it as we discuss the impact and implications of "great" movies on our lives. This discussion group is open to all who are interested.
