The Annual Fund of the Center for Christian Study is an ongoing effort to seek support from our family of U.Va. alumni, parents and friends through gifts made on a yearly basis. Our current Annual Fund runs from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012, with a yearly goal of $712,000. Because most of our services are free and we do not receive funding from the University, 77% of our annual income comes from individual contributions. We need your support to sustain the daily work of the Center as we strategically consider new opportunities for faith and learning, as well as ways to strengthen existing programs. Where Our Support Comes From The Annual Fund is very important to the operation and ministry of the Study Center, as it provides 79% of the Center's operating budget for the 2010-2011 academic year.
How These Funds Are Allocated Expenditures are heavily weighted towards the Center's primary missions of education and student ministry, which last year accounted for 76% of total expenses. The percentages in this chart are based on audited figures for the 2009-2010 academic year.
