WE PROVIDE AVENUES FOR ASKING QUESTIONS THAT LEAD TO DEEPER DISCUSSIONS OF TRUTH.
Led by our Director of Educational Ministries, Fitz Green, our educational offerings are an integral part of our ministry to University students and the greater University community. We consider the questions being raised in the classroom and culture and then provide venues—lectures, small groups, seminars and courses—in which those topics can be explored. Our prayer? That the students' love will abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that they will be able to discern what is best (Phil 1:9-10), confronting the challenges of contemporary culture with the mind of Christ.
“One of our goals in our educational programs is to prompt students to ask what difference Christian belief makes within their major or field of study. How does mathematics point to the truth of the gospel? How does study within the discipline of political science shift the assumptions we make about the truth? Many students don't even consider these big questions unless someone asks them directly." --Fitz Green, Director of Educational Ministries

GRADUATE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP Conversations about Truth are popular within the graduate student community, whether at the weekly Graduate Christian Fellowship meeting or in casual conversation. Graduate students love to debate, argue and talk about ideas, and the Graduate Christian Fellowship confronts students with ideas worth talking about. Students hear the truth of the gospel proclaimed and then practice in their many discussions the habits of Christian thinking that lead to a life of Christian study.
Undergrad and graduate students have the opportunity to be in small discussion groups with leaders like Ken Myers (second from right), founder of Mars Hill Audio.
Support the Study Center's educational ministries as well as the Graduate Christian Fellowship by giving to the 2011-2012 Annual Fund. Every gift makes a difference!
