Director of Undergraduate Ministries for Women

Katie grew up in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, though she spent much of her childhood imagining that she lived in Narnia. She fell in love with the Bible at a young age and began teaching Sunday School when she was in seventh grade. Her love for teaching the Bible eventually led her to earn a Masters in Biblical Studies from Trinity School for Ministry and a Masters in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Penn State University, Katie worked as a campus minister for five years where she got to combine her love for Scripture, teaching, and hospitality, and where she fell deeply in love with college students. Katie later went on to spend five years working at a Christian High School where she taught classes on doctrine, New Testament theology, and worldview.

In addition to her excitement about theology and the Kingdom of God, Katie loves being in nature, whether she’s hiking up a mountain, paddleboarding on a lake, sitting around a campfire, or relaxing on a hammock in the woods. Katie also loves baking, reading, and spending time with her dog, Reepicheep.
