The Center for Christian Study, a nonprofit Christian ministry adjacent to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, is seeking a Director of Graduate Ministries. We are looking for a director who can effectively lead the implementation and management of a multi-faceted educational, fellowship, and outreach ministry to graduate students in a University setting.

The candidate must have a heart for the gospel and the university, be equipped for Christian ministry in an academic setting, and have demonstrated skills in student ministry and program management. In particular, the candidate must be able effectively to bring the vision and mission of the Center for Christian Study to expression by providing and enabling care for students within a structure that leads to the consideration of Christian truth as it bears on all of life.

Minimum requirements include:

• Commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and a high level of spiritual maturity
• Agreement with the statement of faith and commitment to the vision and mission of the Center for Christian Study
• A sense of personal calling to graduate student ministry
• Education and experience consistent with the job description
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a collaborative team environment
• Effective communication and writing skills
