The Mauritanian tells the real life story of Mohamedou Ould Slahi, defense attorney Nancy Hollander, and military prosecutor Lt. Colonel Stuart Couch. In the events depicted in the film, Col. Couch (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) is faced with a difficult moral decision. How did his faith in Jesus Christ affect his actions and decisions in the events of this movie?
