Our students are involved in over 20 unique Christian ministries across Grounds. The Study Center acts as a resource for, and promotes unity among, these ministries through its Grounds Ministry meetings, co-sponsored events, and meeting space.
Grounds Ministry Meetings
For 40 years, Christian leaders from University of Virginia campus ministries have met together at the Study Center for a morning of fellowship, prayer, Scripture reflection, and topical ministry discussions. The Study Center welcomes any group leaders whose primary ministry calling is to University students to join us every third Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Breakfast is provided.
The Study Center co-sponsors various lectures, small groups, and events with many of our Grounds Ministry partners throughout the semester. This fall, Catholic Student Ministries leader Nate Smith co-leads our "Theology of the Body" reading group, while UVA’s InterVarsity chapter joined us in November to co-host "Redeeming the Gift of Power" with guest lecturer Andy Crouch. If your campus ministry is interested in collaborating with the Study Center, please contact Fitz Green.
Our home is open to Grounds ministries for large groups, small groups, or one-on-one meetings. To reserve a room, please fill out our Room Reservation Form.
