Located next to grounds—very near the Rotunda—our building serves University of Virginia students, parents, alumni, community members, Grounds ministries, and faculty. First, it provides meeting and classroom space for all Center-sponsored activities. It also houses a library and prayer room for research, reflection, and study. In addition, the facility has two smaller rooms available for Bible studies, reading groups, and other meetings, as well as a full kitchen and outside deck.
The building holds offices for Study Center staff, and provides office space Grounds ministries staff for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Reformed University Fellowship, and Cru Christian Fellowship at UVA.
Additionally, our male Elzinga Residential Scholars reside in the Study Center’s basement apartments, while our female Elzinga Residential Scholars live in the Yellow House next door.
