Danielle holds a B.A. in Political & Social Thought from the University of Virginia as well as a Masters from Columbia University's Teachers College. Following twenty years as an education policy analyst working on issues ranging from school choice to teacher quality, Danielle served most recently as the Chief Development Officer for a DC-based education think tank. Her early career included working as a youth advocate with Americorps/VISTA in Seattle and teaching high school in Washington, DC and Trenton, NJ.
Danielle and her husband met their fourth year at UVA and recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. They have nine children, ranging from college to second grade.
