Jay joined the Study Center staff in August 2010 and now directs the undergraduate men's ministry. He has a heart for discipleship and evangelism, and loves helping students grow in their knowledge and application of Scripture through Bible studies and personal mentoring. Jay also spends a good bit of time developing student leaders through his oversight of the men's Elzinga Residential Scholars Program, the Student Leadership Team, and undergraduate interns.
Jay completed his M.A. in Theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in May 2012, and double majored in economics and religious studies at the University of Virginia. He has previously worked in sports marketing and with Young Life.
He and his wife, Holly, have three children: Joel, Afton Grace, and Brooks.
