Can Science and Faith Coexist?

November 13, 2017

We often assume that science and religious faith are mutually exclusive views of the world: that they cannot coexist. Yet this opinion is contrary to the evidence. Many of the greatest scientists of history were Christian believers; and today among academics, scientists are more (not less) likely than non-scientists to believe in God. Are such examples of fruitful coexistence just a sign of human inconsistency?
