The Graduate Christian Fellowship (GCF) is a community of students from all over the University that meets together to consider what it means to “think Christianly” in our fields and our lives. GCF exists to provide fellowship as well as intellectual and spiritual support to graduate students and their families during their studies at UVa.

Weekly Meetings

GCF meets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evenings at the Center for Christian Study (128 Chancellor St). We share a meal, study the Bible (or hear from a speaker), and discuss. Often, students will walk over to the Corner afterward to keep the conversation going over a cup of coffee or tea. Other GCF activities include small groups, social events, and retreats.

GCF is held in partnership with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization, which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs.
