Board Member

Heidi Veldman earned a B.A. from Calvin College and an M.A. from Michigan State University. She spent several years as a classroom teacher as well as an administrator, before becoming a mother to Margaret and Annie. Heidi and her husband, Ray were introduced to the Center for Christian Study when their two daughters, Margaret ('19) and Annie ('21) were undergraduates at UVA. The Christian fellowship, guidance, Bible studies, snacks, and encouragement that the Center for Christian Study provided over the years for their daughters was a true blessing.

Heidi and Ray recently retired to Charlottesville, Virginia and are attending The Good Shepherd Anglican Church. They enjoy taking care of their new grandson while their daughter, Margaret is back at UVA for medical school.
