Feed On Me: Four Christian Theologies of the Lord's Supper

October 12 and October 19, 2009

Christian communities around the world and in every age practice some form of the meal that Jesus instituted with his disciples on the night before his death. However, these communities differ in their understanding of what the meal means, why we should participate in it, and how we participate in the body of Christ when we do. This lecture series presents four perspectives on the Lord's Supper—Catholic, Calvinist, Lutheran, and Memorialist.
