The Fruit, the Lamb, and the Bread: A Few Famous Food Stories from Scripture and Why They Matter

September 21 and October 5, 2009

The fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the lamb for the Passover in Egypt, the bread from heaven in the wilderness: sometimes God's people are forbidden to eat, at the risk of a curse; at other times food is the means of great blessing. This series explores the way in which these stories enjoin us to "taste and see that the Lord is good."
