Creation and New Creation: Ecological Concern and New Testament Theology

A concern for the spiritual and the eternal often leads Christians to avoid or even oppose serious involvement in environmental concerns and policy. To be sure, the New Testament says much less explicitly about the created world than does the Old Testament. But several key passages and images reveal that the concern for God's creation seen in the Old Testament carries over into the New. This lecture will consider one such image, Paul's teaching about "new creation."
