Knowing how covenants or prophecy or gospels “work” goes a long way toward making sense of Scripture. This ‘Understanding the Bible’ seminar provides an introduction to some of the main “genres” of Scripture (covenant, prophecy, lament, apocalyptic, gospel, letters) while placing them as much as possible in the larger storyline of the Bible.
