Christians, trying to read Scripture faithfully, come to different understandings on all sorts of topics that affect Christian life. Does Scripture teach that women can serve in any role that men do, or that certain positions are fitting only for men? Christians have emphasized different biblical passages that seem to point in different directions. How do we faithfully read scripture as a whole on this matter?
