Ephrem the Syrian (4th C) could be the greatest Christian theologian you've never heard of. He was one of the most influential leaders of the Syriac-speaking church, in what is now southern Turkey.  We will explore a selection of his writings, from poetry to theology to biblical commentary.  This series is in cooperation with the St. Anselm Institute for Catholic Thought.
