Move-In Day Lunch

August 23, 2008

At Move-In Day Lunch, new students are welcomed to U.Va. and introduced to a wealth of Christian fellowship groups, resources, and locations in the Charlottesville community. The Move-In Day Lunch is an annual gathering that began in 1999 with a small group of parents who wanted to welcome the arriving class and their families on behalf of the believing community here. Each August since then we've filled every square foot of the building with first-years, transfers, moms, dads, siblings and, of course, sandwich fixings.
