How We Grieve: A Conversation with Students

September 11, 2012

As Christian's we must grieve. The world is broken and has fallen from God's good original plan; now we all suffer and die; tragedies happen. And yet Christians grieve not as those without hope (1 Thess. 4:13). In the end, our grief is shaped by our sure hope of the Resurrection—the first fruits of the new creation when, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away" (Rev. 21:4).
