Wendell Berry Workshop: Farmer, Poet, Prophet

with The Blue Ridge Center

Wednesday, September 10 | 6:30 PM | Blue Ridge Center (1419 University Ave) | Dinner provided

Wendell Berry has been one of modern America's most original and creative thinkers about rural life, farming, environmentalism, and literature. In his essays, novels, and poems, he has profoundly affected many others. This one-evening workshop showcases experts who've been inspired to “live out” Berry’s writings in different ways. We'll provide dinner, and provide free copies of some of Berry's best books!

This workshop will be led by Robert Mosalgo, a software engineer who also runs a small dairy, raises chickens, and does timber-framing, and Sam Heath, who has a background in community organizing and justice initiatives, informed by Berry's holistic attention to place, history, and culture.

The workshop will be moderated by Drew Masterson.
