Christ in the Creed
with Michael Bird
Monday, November 10 | 8 PM | Newcomb Theater
The Apostles' Creed is an ancient confession that unites Christians across centuries and denominations. This lecture explores the Creed’s origins, purpose, and structure, showing how it serves as both a concise summary of the Christian faith and as a powerful tool for teaching, prayer, and spiritual formation. Learn why reciting the Creed connects believers to the “catholic and apostolic faith” of the ancient past, fosters unity in the present, and provides a foundation for resisting modern ideological pressures.
