Masculinity in a Disembodied Age

with Mark Perkins

Tuesday, February 24 | 7 PM | 128 Chancellor Street

Historically, cultures have emphasized distinct roles for mothers and fathers—maternal nurture paired with paternal protection and provision. But as contemporary work and daily life rely less on physical strength, the meaning of fatherhood—and masculinity more broadly—has increasingly been questioned. How, then, can our families, schools, churches, and neighborhoods embody a richer alternative? And how might we offer boys meaningful rites of passage that lead them from childhood into mature Christian manhood?

Dessert will be served. Please use the interest form below to help us prepare well for the evening.

This event is open to community members and students.
