Andrus G. Ashoo serves as the Director of the Office of Citizen Scholar Development, which is home to fellowships & undergraduate research at the University of Virginia. Since 2014, he has endeavored to focus the office’s approach to advising on pillars of dignity, agency, competency, and virtue as he and his staff support students in their intellectual, professional, social, and personal development.

When not at the university, he is most likely found at Trinity Presbyterian Church, coaching youth soccer, or with his family, where he fulfills his most important roles as a husband to Christina and a father to their two children.
