We were grateful to welcome Dr. Lucy Guarnera to the Study Center for an intimate dinner hosted in partnership with Bearings Journal and the Veritas Forum. Dr. Guarnera is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. In addition to forensic evaluations, Dr. Guarnera’s research focuses on improving fairness in the legal system for the most vulnerable such as victims of sexual abuse, mental illness, and adolescents.
During this dinner she spoke about her experience as a Christian working in her field and students had a chance to ask questions about her life and work.
