Foundations Week 2026

What is Foundations Week? A four-day program, strategically scheduled the week prior to the start of classes and designed for incoming first-year students. Many who participate in Foundations Week become regular small group attendees and later participate in the Residential Scholars Program.
This year we expanded our capacity once again, welcoming 41 students to this special week! Their schedule was packed with fun activities and thoughtful conversation. Highlights included a float down the James River, a scavenger hunt around Grounds, worshiping together, and late night games and fellowship time.
The 2027-2028 Foundations Week application will be posted here next year.
