Conversations surrounding gender and sexuality are always going to be tender and complex. They are never just about “issues” but are always bound up with the lives of real men and women yearning to live a fulfilling life. This is one of the primary barriers to faith in our day and age.

According to PRRI’s massive 2023 study, 47% of adults who had left the faith of their childhood said it was because of their church’s teachings on and treatment of LGBTQ people. How are Christians meant to enter into these conversations and these relationships in this cultural moment?

We–Drew Masterson (Study Center Staff) and Zach Hay (Chi Alpha Staff)– invite you to bring your lunch and join us as we work through the Center for Faith, Sexuality, and Gender’s “Grace/Truth” series— a collection of video and written reflections aimed at equipping Christians to navigate our culture’s confusion around sexuality and gender with clear theology and the heart of Jesus.

If you or someone you care about wrestles with their gender or sexual identity and longs to know what a nuanced, Christian response might look like, we hope this group will be a great resource.
