What does it mean to love?

In English, we use "love" to describe how we feel toward family, significant others, or even a great song or a delicious bagel from Bodo's. How can such different feelings go by the same word?

In The Four Loves, C.S. Lewis compares the human emotions of affection, friendship, and romance to the divine, selfless love of God. By using the Greek word: storge, philios, eros, and agape, Lewis helps us see what happens when our love for each other goes wrong and how to reorder our loves back toward God.
